Pericoronitis

Indications Pain, inflammation, swelling, trismus normally associated with partially erupted or unerupted wisdom tooth.
   
Treatment
1st line Metronidazole 200mg three times a day (3 days).
2nd Line Amoxicillin 500mg three times a day (3 days).
   
Referral Refer to GDP for assessment.
