Screening |
Urethral
swab and urine for chlamydia, by GP, is preferable before commencing
treatment. If not possible, refer. |
Treatment | Ofloxacin
400mg once daily or ciprofloxacin 500mg twice daily for two weeks if low
likelihood of chlamydia. Adjust if necessary according to swab
result.. |
