Dermatology Patient Pathways
NHS Scotland have introduced a number of patient pathways. Central to the idea is to offer assistance in the management of patients in the community, and to provide tips for who and when to refer. The following conditions are covered by the pathways:
Acne
Alopecia
Atopic eczema
Benign skin conditions
Hand and foot eczema
Molluscum contagiosum
Nail dystrophy
Non-melanoma skin cancers
Pruritus - general and local
Rosacea
Psoriasis
Scabies
Solar (actinic) keratosis and Bowen’s disease
Suspicious pigmented lesions and melanocytic naevi (moles)
Urticaria
Viral warts
